The Greenville County school district definitely prepared me for college! I’ve been in this district all the way up through high school! We have a great variety of diversity, clubs/sports, and great academics. One thing I wished we did change would be the availability of advanced courses (like AP) because each school has various amounts. My high school had the least choices to take and was slower catching up to the other schools that started freshman year. I would suggest having similar amounts available at each high school because it could impact your GPA in the long run.

What I like about the Greenville County school district is that they show that they care about their students. However, I came from a school that lacked many things. I remember that when it rained harshly, one day the ceiling started to collapse. Also, the school lacked the money to really provided the students with the best educational supplies. I do appreciate the effort!
The Greenville County School District takes pride in wanting to see its students succeed. They take great measures to ensure that their students have every possibility to excel in their particular areas. For example, during the COVID-19 pandemic the Greenville County School District took the necessary steps to make sure we, as students, were comfortable enough to take on all our courses while still being able to gain a great education in the process. My overall experience with GCSD has been a positive one and I would not exchange it for anything in the world. I have made wonderful connections, from teachers and administration to my friends and staff. We are uplifted and encouraged to step out of our comfort zone everyday and try something new. We were pushed to excel beyond our wildest dreams and make the most of our experience in the school system.

I loved my time with the Greenville County School District. The people of the system have become apart of the reason I am the man I am.
