Greenville County School District Reviews
I have spent my entire school experience in the Greenville County School District. I have had an overall positive experience in the 3 elementary schools I attended, 1 middle school, and 1 high school. My favorite experiences have been the field trips and athletic opportunities. My least favorite things are the lack of guidance support. I was severely bullied in elementary school and requested a meeting with guidance with my parents and we were ignored. In high school, students who didn't have parents help them navigate college applications and other prep were left behind. My mom helped me so I have turned out well. There are a lot of STEM opportunities, but choose the schools wisely especially middle school. I recommend this district as most student I know have a bright future ahead of them!
The academics, sports, and school involvement is great. I think that my high school personally is very good at making students college ready. We are a top school within the Greenville County School district. Being a senior, I am excited to go to college and further my education. I feel like I am prepared for what the future will bring. I am really into mathematics and want to either go into finance or education. I think it would be great to teach the future and prepare them for they real world as well as making them excited to learn. My school had great classes and programs you can take. I took a teacher cadet class from North Greenville University and I loved it. That is where I really learned I loved working with children. I am also taking a psychology class with a really tough teacher. I feel that is preparing me for my future college experience. I have been lucky enough to have some pretty spectacular teachers.
Love it and the teachers/environment! I have always felt used and have had the opportunity to express my passions, while thriving in academics. There are always resources to help me succeed!
