Greeneville City Schools Reviews
I love Greeneville City Schools because it is more of a family than a school system. The teachers genuinely care about each student and always go above and beyond to make sure students reach their full potential. However, I would like to see more faculty support from the Greeneville City Schools Administrative offices. I feel like the top dogs in the offices don't truly understand what it is like to be a teacher in a public school system. I would like to see the offices do more to support and protect their teachers rather than doing what looks best on paper.
I love the environment of Greeneville High School! The teachers are so willing to help and the staff are kind and truly care about the students. Greeneville Middle School was not a good experience for me, but I had gone to a Christian private school preceding that so I may not be the best judge of that school. However, I can honestly say that Greeneville High School successfully prepared me for college. They have great clubs and organizations to get involved with and those activities I participated in (such as chorus, soccer, tennis, and student council) truly helped shaped me into the person I am today.
Greeneville City Schools prepares you from an early age for the future. The slogan Future Ready is really upheld within the high school. Their are numerous AP classes to choose from and the connection to the local community college for dual enrollment helps students experience college classes while still in high school. The campus is nice with plenty of space for parking. The school has an excellent sports program. Our football team has been state champions two years in a row. The band and chorus programs are also some of the best in East Tennessee. Overall the school is a great place to spend your four years preparing for the next step in life.
