Grants Pass School District Reviews
I have been to four different high schools, and did a few online semesters. Although, the Grants Pass school district has no competition. As a freshman, I struggled with attendance and motivation overall. I went to Grants Pass High school throughout my sophomore year. I held straight A's and loved coming to school. Then, I went back to Kansas during my junior year. There, my old habits that I had my freshman year returned. Luckily, my senior year I returned to Grants Pass. I currently attend a smaller campus named "Gladiola". The teachers I’ve met have inspired me in many different ways. The grants pass school district will forever be who my success is due to. All of my teachers have shown me that I should feel proud of all accomplishments, even the small ones. I will always remember Grants Pass as the place that helped me move forward with my life.
It has lots of opportunities and clubs for all groups. Math, sports, and band are just a few sections of clubs that the school provides. It is a very open campus with a wide range of courses to take. They care a lot about each students education and getting them to the next step. Students have counselors and welcoming administration to help with the needs of each individual.
I have a lot of opportunities at GPHS, and a lot of support from friends and teachers. I have been a member of AVID for my 4 years of high school. AVID has positively helped and benefitted me throughout high school. It has given me a lot of motivation and confidence to do well and challenge myself in school. My junior year I struggled with some of the more challenging AP classes, but AVID and my teacher helped to push me to continue and pass my classes.
