Granite school district is alright but realistically could do better in certain spots of running it's district of education. The district should distribute its funds equally between, elementary schools with other elementary schools, and middle schools with other middle schools, etc. Rather than giving higher funds to schools with a richer community, it should distribute evenly with communities of lower income. Overall, Granite School District education is good, because the materials provided are good to a point were I'm able to understand the concept and topics. Although it could do better but it's good enough to continue onto a higher level of education. The district is able to push/send students into colleges or universities with good grades and test scores.
I am an alumnus of the Granite school district where I attended some of my high school years in this school district. I had a positive experience in this district and enjoyed the diversity and the cultural appreciation that this district provided. In high school, I joined a club called Latinos in Action and although I wasn't Latino I was able to be accepted into Latinos in action and merge into their culture. I eventually learned Spanish and attended their cultural events. I appreciated that the granite school district offered and promoted Latinos in action because it bought me many opportunities and connections to a new culture.
The granite school district offers vocational schooling while you attend your senior year where students can receive certificates such as dental radiology, medical assisting certifications, and much more. This is beneficial because it set you up for success after graduation if completed sucessfully.

It definitely isn't the worst district to be in and sometimes it is enjoyable. Their is one thing I absolutely love about this district: the diversity. I have grown up in a district that enabled me to meet people of all races, and it has helped me become the person I am today. Having a district that has diversity helps you be more open-minded and able to accept someone no matter what! I also appropriate the fact that they have so many different classes available; they have both academic and career ready classes. Unfortunately, frequently they have changed things in my school that have created unwanted changes in education. I feel that our education could have been better without some of their changes.
