I have experienced and been a part of this district since I was a small little kindergartner, and it has changed so much. When my dad was in school in GPISD, he experienced not as much opportunity as I have had. The district really focuses on the students and the best possible chance for them to be successful. The have "schools of choice," which are schools that focuses on a certain interest and also allows out-of-district students to attend as well. GPISD has schools that focuses on academics, fine arts, and on certain career choices. This district is wonderful and the only thing I would change is to make it have more opportunities!
As soon as you walked into this district your life has changed; Drastically. They prepare you for the world ahead by outstanding counseling, intimidating education, and far best hands on experience. Beyond amazing is the people you will meet, they are like family, they will not hesitate to assist you in your journey. The cool thing is they are so jovial: its like the village in "Beauty and the beast"without the musical. The whole district is so diverse that you will never feel out of place, friends are literally everywhere!
