Goshen Local School District Reviews
I had a great experience throughout my years at Goshen Local Schools the teachers are awesome and will help you no matter what their always willing to help. There are some bad things that happen like a lot of fights and a lot of people getting suspended for vaping so I would like to see a change in that. My favorite thing about this school is how small it is,everyone knows verybody there is 215 students in my class, but the school is growing and it's growing fast. There are so many middle schoolers that they won't all fit in the gym when they have an assembly so if they could build a new school that would be great, which their trying to have a levy passed on November 5th so hopefully we can have enough room for all the new kids coming to our school district.
Overall, in the four years I've been enrolled in Goshen Local School District, I've had a very positive experience. Up until my senior year, I had a fantastic amount of flexibility in the courses I was offered with the exception of senior year math with the removal of the math course I had planned to take. The quality of teachers has been overall impressive since day one, as teachers have small enough class sizes to allow focus on individual students and resolve issues larger schools struggle with. Goshen High School has team spirit like no other, especially during football season.
Very welcoming and supportive learning environment. Staff is dedicated to preparing students for academic and real world success. Students are pushed to do their best and are encouraged to pursue higher education. The district provides college readiness programs and classes, such as Advanced Placement and Dual Credit.
