Goshen Central School District Reviews
I'm in the upcoming graduation class of 2020. I'm a senior at Goshen high school and my experience there was extremely incredible. I enjoyed my academic studies. My ultimate favorite things that Goshen high School was my 4 years participating in the school plays. Goshen has prepared me for my higher education. Goshen high School district is an excellent district, everyone get an excellent education starting from elementary level through high School. I totally recommend this district for anyone that's looking for an excellence School district.
With a diverse faculty and student community, Goshen Central School District is very welcoming and accepting. Hundreds of adults make themselves available for help in all aspects, including academic and personal. While I, as a former student, felt comfortable going to school and would love to see my children grow up in the same environment, I do have some ideas for change. First, I believe that students of Goshen High School, as teenagers, should have more room to make decisions and grow into adults. This could include more classes that would help them in the real world, teaching them skills such as how to do taxes, how to find a job, and how to better prepare them for college. Another idea I have is involving the Elementary school. I believe that young children should be taught about the effects of bullying. I also think that problem students should be taken more seriously and faculty should delve deeper into their home lives to see what is causing these problems.
Goshen is a home-town, small-town kind of high school. The music division of GHS is fantastic and has fantastic professors. The teachers of GHS were all very willing to help students in any way they can, big or small. The school has a very community-driven vibe to it and is always there to help out others in any way. Sports are decent, division IX high school sports teams that had great coaches and won many awards (just not the football team).
