I like Goreville Community Unit School District No. 1 because it is small and close knit. Your classmates and teachers are truly your family. You never have to worry about asking for help with assignments or homework. However, being small leaves less room for more electives and opportunities. There is also little to be desired for advanced or AP classes. My preparation for college was next to none and I really had to teach myself things many times.

I love the community in Gorevile, the teachers and staff are so nice and attentive to all the kids who go here. It is a smaller school, but we have one of the best eduacation systems.
I have been attending Goreville school for my whole life. There are ups and downs just like at any school but it is an over great school. I have grown with my teachers and classmates and they truly feel as family.
