In this community and school district everyone knows each other and it is really easy to form lasting connections with faculty and teachers. The community rallies behind the school during sporting events, functions, and holidays. The district is very generous with the scholarships and opportunities they provide us with. I am so glad I moved into this welcoming environment, though I do wish the school remodeling was happening before I leave after this year! The one thing I would have liked was more clubs! We have some clubs but not a lot to choose from!
Good area, small town and not much bullying, overall would recommend especially if you’re an athlete.
I enjoyed my time at Goodhue School very much. The facility is a K-12 building and I am so grateful for the opportunity to experience my education in this way. Both young and older students could learn from one another by how they carry themselves in the hallway to mentoring one on one in the classroom. The teachers and staff were also extremely supportive and energetic. They would go above and beyond to ensure the happiness and safety of the students while learning took place. I learned both academic and life lessons at Goodhue School.
