Gonzales Independent School District Reviews

Being an alumni from GISD, I see things differently verses when I was in school. I thought this was the worst school in the world! However, now that I look back, I think GISD prepared me as much as they could for the real world. There are things that I wish would have been introduced to me in grade school verses college, but I think that GISD did and is doing well enough.

I enjoyed the community and numerous clubs and sports the school offered, I would change the number of language classes being taught to not just Spanish and computer science but to French, German, Sign language, and many more.
Very little emphasis is placed on education. Facilities are old and not well maintained. Administration is a joke, but the educators do care about their students.
