GVUSD is the epitome of a continuously growing district that keeps the students at the forefront of their thoughts. It is located in a small community, but that has never been a downfall. From student involvement in school activities to the parent clubs to the relationships built between students and teachers, the community and district together are unified for the betterment of the students. Each school puts on so many events, such as carnivals, open houses, sporting events, and more, that allow the students to truly be involved. Every student feels loved and cared for in such a community, but the overwhelming feeling of compassion and care for the students wouldn't be present without the involvement of the district. Without our board members working constantly to improve the schools, district, and community, none of it would be possible. Overall, GVUSD is a stupendous district that constantly works to create a loving environment for their students any day and every day.

I love seeing that the community is so close. With all of the board meetings held at the school the community is allowed to be involved and issues faced are brought up to discussion. It is so refreshing to see all of the staff and teachers genuinely caring for the students and having such a close relationship. Personally, I have had the staff be very supportive and guiding towards my goals and dreams. These people who educate the students are knowledgeable and have a good sense of morals to teach the students. Golden Valley Unified School District is a safe place for students and I would highly recommend others to send their children here.
I have been a part of Golden Valley Unified School District since I started school in kindergarten. Throughout the few schools that Golden Valley Unified holds, I have attended all but one. Golden Valley Unified schools have very high qualifications and expectations of their students, they excel their strengths and strengthen their weaknesses in school. I am currently a Junior at Liberty High School and have a 3.8 GPA, throughout my many years of being a student of Golden Valley Unified, my teachers became friends and classmates became family.
