I have been attending school in Goddard since the first grade, so I do not know what outside schools are like, but I am very grateful to have attended Goddard. The teachers at my school are carefully chosen, and most of them genuinely care and actively show that they want their students to succeed. One thing that could be improved upon is the quality of the technology provided by the school. Especially now that everyone is online every other day, the school should try to provide decent technology for the students to use.
At Goddard, the teachers care about the students and do their best to prepare students for the next level of instruction whether it be high school or college. The counselors also make it their goal to help each student figure out what they want to do after graduation and what they must do to accomplish that. As a Goddard student, I feel more prepared for my college life because of highly qualified teachers who care about what they teach and the students they teach it to.
The Goddard school system is primarily split between the two high schools of Goddard High and Eisenhower High school, and the elementary, intermediate, and middle schools leading into them. The district as a whole does a great job of trying to get kids to succeed in any areas they can, and a friendly atmosphere all around.
