I love being a student at Glenwood. The district is overall great. There is room for improvement, however. The facilities are top notch for the district. The community is very involved in our school system. Homecoming is the best thing since sliced bread!
My overall experience with the Glenwood Community school district has been very good. I feel that most of the teachers have the best intentions for their students and they all want to see their students succeed in life. The teachers care and will be there for you if you need them. Glenwood is also very focused on getting students more involved in extracurricular activities. I was involved in the sports programs and I had a great experience. The coaches taught me important life lessons that I believe I will benefit from greatly in my future. The upperclassmen show great leadership for the underclassmen. The weights program is run by a very passionate and dedicated coach. The weights class is one of the classes that students look forward to going to every day. Overall, the students at Glenwood get along and are accepting of one another. Glenwood is a great school district, a great place to grow up, and a great place to learn how to be successful in life.
