Glencoe is a school that has both pros and cons. Glencoe has a very strong amount of school pride and focus on achievements. On the other side of this is a school with little to no college readiness along with minimal college classes. GSL does have opportunities to do college through PSEO, but not many are able.
GSL is a both a sports heavy school and a STEM heavy school, but a very small focus on the arts and music. The program is continuously cut to bring in more tech based classes even though there is a very strong following for the music and arts.
Overall GSL is not the worst school to exist but it definitely isn't the best.

I liked that for most teachers and staff members that you are able to go to them with anything you may need help with, and they are more then willing to help you. I like the environment and the people that are around me. Some thing I wish that would change is the communication staff members have with their students and the school. They tend to not tell somethings that students may need to know
The Teachers are good people who actually care for their students and deserve respect. but they have difficulty making students take Bullying, College, and their own academics seriously. Mostly everyone does but to me its always that 1/3 of the class who just jokes around or doesn't behave that is the most important as they could have amazing futures with how easy they have it but just shoot for something like a mechanic or something along the line.
