Gladstone School District Reviews
I love the sense of community Gladstone School District has. Growing up together, classes have the opportunity to grow and support one another. The teachers encouragement to individual students brings students a sense of comfort and motivation. The administration is willing to listen and reaches out to students in order to solve issues. The academic opportunity could be better, for they only offer so many advanced classes, and often times resources are limited. Preparation for college in the past has been extremely lacking, however they recently hired a college and career counselor to help.
I enjoy and appreciate the general acceptance of people and the fun spirited staff and students. I would like to see changed, the requirement of taking 15 classes, even up through one's senior year. I disagree with the system forcing students to fill up their time with courses that aren't needed to graduate; time that could be filled with working at their jobs or making actual progress for their future.
I love how our teachers care so much about the students! They take the time to really get to know us. They are also willing to help students before and after school. Many teachers also get involved in our activities, which helps students get involved too!
