My experience with Gilbert Unified School District, more specifically Highland High School, has been pretty good. The teachers really care about their students being successful in their class. There is a wide variety of classes available and a deep encouragement for students to challenge themselves. Not to mention, there seems to be an endless opportunity for community and school involvement through clubs and activities. However, I think it would benefit everyone if there were more diversity in our student population. This would bring with it more cultures that would allow the students and staff to open up to new possibilities. Another thing I think my school could improve on would be the counselor communication with their students. I personally feel I have missed out on a lot of important information and opportunities because I wasn't made aware of them.

I was enrolled in the Gilbert Unified School District from the time of first grade of elementary school up to senior year of high school. In that time, I gained life-long friendships, vast collections of knowledge, and irreplaceable experiences. My time at GPS was a time of enjoyment, and I wouldn't replace it for anything, it has made me who I am today, and I am so thankful for that. I received a good education and it has prepared me fro not only college but for life as well. I would most definitely recommend attending one of the schools in the district!
My school district, Gilbert Unified School District, provides equal opportunity for all of the students. The teachers and administration are passionate and caring. Everyone in this district values education and life after high school. They provide the ability to win scholarships and opportunities to practice standardized testing to encourage students to continue their education. Even with the lack of funding my school district receives, they never fail to provide the best for their students and teachers. As well as being a student in this district, I have also has the opportunity to work for them. I am an employee for the after school camps they provide for elementary school children that have working parents. This school district has provided me with the best high school experience I could have asked for.
