The district does an excellent job meeting the needs of military students and families. There are innovative and challenging programs available for middle and high school students. Staff are qualified and for the most part care greatly about the success of students.

I have always gotten a good education with Geary County School district, even being a military child. The people are questionably rude sometimes and the principles seem to have their priority's mixed though.
The diversity in students is what I like best about Geary County Public Schools. What I would like to change is the diversity in Administration. There aren't many teachers of color nor are there many people of color in Administrative positions also. Then they do not teach Black History in the month of February or any other culture.
