I greatly admire the teachers in our social studies and music departments. At Gateway, we take great pride in our arts, and the quality of our musical and play productions speak for themselves. However, the quality of our food is questionable at best and the security guards armed with guns no longer break up fights for fear their guns will be taken. Gateway has flaws and could benefit from improvements, but its core values are strong and reliable.
Review Gateway School District
I love the diversity and broad range of opinions. The food, nursing department, and lack of mental health resources are my only complaint. Gateway has fantastic, involved teachers who truly care about their students (most of them at least). The buildings are great. I was able to start a GSA and all the administrators were very helpful and made the process easy and quick. Shoutout to Mr. Randolph for being the most involved, helpful, and all-around amazing teacher I've ever met.
My experience at Gateway was great. All the teachers are always ready to help you and make sure you succeed. What I liked about Gateway was that they were always ready to see people succeed. They were great about communicating and figuring out the best way to succeed. To be honest, the only thing I would change about Gateway is security and a better way to handle altercations.
