Gateway Regional School District Reviews
Coming to Gateway from a bigger school I was worried I wouldn't fit in, but as I got to know the teachers and the students I being to like Gateway. It was a hard adjustment because most people have known one another since elementary school, but as I got to know everyone I began to like them as if we knew eachother for a while. Gateway is a smaller school then the average highschool, but that has had a positive impact on my life. Being so small I have been able to connect with the teachers, administrators, and the students on more of a personal level. The one thing that would be better was if there was more funding for the school, acedemics, and activites.
The school itself is very nice, but not enough classes are offered. I would have liked to take more interesting courses.
The school is settled in Huntington. It has a small town charm but also an air of arrogance. There is next to no diversity but that reflects the hilltowns themselves.
