The public schools are great! The teachers are amazing and organized. I’ve attended these public school for almost 12 years and I have enjoyed all the years that I been here. It’s a good learning environment.
It’s embracing culture of the diversity in our schools. There are over 35 languages spoken at the high school level.
An amazing program, Buffalo Coffee Shop for students with intellectual disabilities that run a student ran coffee shop. Students from the regular student body is paired with the group as a peer leader. Amazing life changing interaction for everyone involved.

The major plus is the diverse student body, full of LGBT students, immigrants, and racial minorities. The administration however, is a problem. Severe budgeting issues have made them cut several art and theater projects, and they place too much emphasis on sports over academics and mental health. Even when students do speak up the problems are often pushed to the side and not taken care of.
