Fullerton Joint Union High School District Reviews
Fullerton Union High School is a diverse large campus in the heart of downtown Fullerton and just minutes from California State University Fullerton. The school has an incredible connection with the community and has a rich history of 127 years! As a student I participated in the award winning theatre and music programs that taught me to encourage creativity and work with others. During Fall, you can't go anywhere in Fullerton without people talking about football. Our school has an amazing state of the art football stadium that every school in the district uses. I was lucky to be able to walk on the field to receive my diploma. Luckily for FUHS students, the Fullerton community college is right next door. As a junior or senior, the community college allows the students to take GE classes for college credit. I took racquetball my junior year to get my physical education credit. High school is what you make of it, luckily for me I was able to have a great experience at my alma mater.
I like the academics that are involved as well as the diversity that the school has. Students are highly involved in sports and clubs. The safety that the school has is good too! I highly recommend the school have more programs that involve the sciences and math though, instead of focusing too much on the music and arts. It should be more balanced, but overall the school is one that is well rounded, and one I would recommend to family and friends!
I didnt know what I wanted to do entering as a freshman but I know I wanted to take care of an animal so I joined LaHabras FFA program. I have been in this for four years and what an awesome life changing experience! I've have been able to experience leadership, social awareness, responsibility, competition and sportsmanship, caring teachers and a group of quality friends! It has made me confident and ready to start college!
