Overall my experience in the Fremont Union High School District was pretty great. The main thing I loved about the school I attended was that there was a wide range of academic classes I could take, whether it was AP, honors, or regular where I was able to challenge myself. Also there were a lot of extracurriculars that I could take in order to get involved. I was on the Fremont Cheer Team for 4 years, ASB class for 3 years, the clubs interact, National Honor Society, El Conversation Club, and Link Crew. Although my experience at Fremont was great, the teachers that I had varied from good and bad. I had some pretty awesome teachers that I could go to for help and for guidance in everyday life which was great, but at the same time, some teachers I had didn't teach material very well. Overall the administrative team and counselors were very supportive and more often that not the teachers were great. Overall my experience at Fremont High School in the Union was great!
Fremont Union High School District is very diverse in many ways. Educationally, racially, socially, you name it. The college-going graduation rates for this district have their minimum at 86% which is surprising because of the number of students that go to each of the 5 schools. All these schools have extracurricular activities like sports and clubs and are stress-free to choose from. From my previous year in high school, they had mandatory FLEX (extracurricular classes throughout the week) which helped us plan out our 4 years in high school so that we had the required credits for college. Online school has been swift too, with the whole district sharing the same schedules and there has not been a lot of complaints about online learning.
FUHSD is an amazing district. Their wonderful services, endless opportunities, flawless facilities, and diverse culture makes it stand out in all of America. Their main goal is to make sure that their students are healthy, safe, secure, and successful. They ensure that all their students get equal experience and abundance to activities, clubs, advising, academics, etc. The teachers and staff of the district are awesomely awesome. Their tireless effort, patience, trust, and helpfulness nature, even in this COVID-19 pandemic, has helped us students to be less stressed with our work and that we are successful and confident. The district in this circumstance are constantly making sure whether all the families and students are safe and healthy. The whole district is working to their best effort to make us successful even in this kind of weird situation.
