Freeman was a great environment to grow up in. The elementary school teachers cared a lot about individual improvements and achievements, and those were the best years I experienced at this school. When I got to the age of entering high school, the teachers and staff were completely different. They were obnlivious to what students had going on at home, and they didn't try to get to know students unless they were well known. I experienced high school and tried to make the best of it, but the main influences that allow students to feel safe didn't act as role models. If I could change anything at this school, it would be the communication between the staff of the school and the students. There have been so many times where I have had to talk to teachers about graduation and scholarships when it should have been an obvious subject to educate student on.

The whole district is so tight-knit and compassionate. Everyone knows everyone and the administration is great and understanding of the students, while making necessary changes.
I have been very involved in the school the last 2 years. There is an extremely welcoming environment overall as far as classes, sports, and clubs. Most parents are very involved as well. Very family-friendly.
