Franklin County School District Reviews
What I liked most about about Franklin County High School was the sports and club life. I was apart of the Franklin County High School Girls' Basketball team and I loved being able to play for my school. I also enjoyed going to other sports games to support my school. One thing that I enjoyed about club life was how active they were in school with fundraisers and things. One thing that I would like to see be changed it the diversity of the school. Franklin County High School is predominantly white and it is easy for the minorities to feel left out, so I would like to see the school try to involve other cultures.
My experience has been good at Franklin County High School. I have had many teachers and administrators encourage me to do the best that I can do. As I have a younger brother coming up as a freshmen next year, there are things that I hope will change to improve his high school experience. There are a few teachers here who are truly only in it for the money and do not care about the children's future. I feel as a teacher you should be engaged and concerned about every student that walks into their classroom. I am not saying to just fire them, but if they do not improve, that may be the final option. Also, I would like for more students to be disciplined for their wrong doings. Some teachers let cursing and inappropriate topics continue to be used. The children should be corrected.
High school is different for every student. Students will experience drama, bad grades, sleepless nights, tired mornings, stress, friendships, fights, etc, but each student will learn different life lessons from it. My high school was very average. It had its stereotypes. It had average classrooms with average lessons. What made me give the school 4 stars is the help the teachers and staff invested in students. I went through a hard time, and school was my escape. The counselors and teachers helped me overcome my problems when it wasn’t in their agenda to do so, and for that I am grateful.
