Franklin Area Jr. Sr. High School is a great school to send new and upcoming students to. Teachers always know what's going on and try to help as much as they can. They have a police officer that protects our school and students in there. There are a few different levels for academics, whether you are a level one, level two, or even advanced. They offer a variety of clubs and different sports for the kids to interact in. The food could be better depending on what they're serving that day. Parents are always notified about what is going on in the school and/or with their kid(s).

Most teachers are very dedicated to the student’s life and well-being. There are not enough available AP courses in my opinion. A lot of cliques, but that’s pretty average for any high school. Very small community and school where everyone knows everyone.
Franklin had a great athletic department for our area, and this was an attraction to local families. Once the district started decreasing the priority of sports, families were not as willing to buy homes in our district as they once were. This lowers our revenue source, which lowers our overall quality of education for all students. I would like to see the school pride, team spirit, and community support that we once had return to our district.
