My experience at Franklin was over all pretty good. I made friends, was able to get involved in sports and clubs, and had pretty great experiences. One of the things that I liked about Franklin was that anybody could join any club or sports team. Nobody was excluded in those things which I think is very cool because it gave everybody the opportunity to be involved. If I had the ability to change something about the school, I would probably want just better communication. There were times where I would miss certain events or was not told about things going on with the school. I think in that area they could have tried a little harder to involve students. Despite this, my time at Franklin was quite enjoyable!
Franklin Area Jr. Sr. High School is a great school to send new and upcoming students to. Teachers always know what's going on and try to help as much as they can. They have a police officer that protects our school and students in there. There are a few different levels for academics, whether you are a level one, level two, or even advanced. They offer a variety of clubs and different sports for the kids to interact in. The food could be better depending on what they're serving that day. Parents are always notified about what is going on in the school and/or with their kid(s).
Most teachers are very dedicated to the student’s life and well-being. There are not enough available AP courses in my opinion. A lot of cliques, but that’s pretty average for any high school. Very small community and school where everyone knows everyone.
