Francis Howell School District Reviews
I need to see change. My experience with this school district has been rough. I've had multiple situations where I've been put at risk. They've been negligent. They've done nothing about bullying situations, they've put in minimal effort to students that need help and/or discipline, and they've been very negligent toward my health. They've sent me back to class on multiple occasions where I've needed medical attention to due severe asthma and allergic reactions.
Francis Howell is much what I expected. All the different races and a whole new learning environment. I entered this district in 8th grade. I'm now a senior. It's very abnormal from my old school district. I enjoy this school district because how involved they are with sports, clubs, fundraisers, and etc. A school like that will make you love that school. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and wanted. Teachers are very willing to help you with anything there is you find complicated. Also, all of the counselors and principals are very caring. They want to see everyone achieve. They believe in all their students and that anything is possible.Another pro about Francis Howell is you will never feel like you're being harmed in any way. You're always safe. The security guards does a great job at keeping everything under control. Francis Howell is the district of all achievable, outgoing, and successful students!
The grade school I attended was amazing. I had wonderful teachers, and I am still in contact with some of them. Middle school was just typical "middle school". There were way too many ridiculous rules, like no backpacks. Kids did serious damage to their backs and shoulder from carrying drawstring bags. Then, came high school. I hated it so much that I graduated a year early just to get out. The school was okay in general, I guess. But, they really fostered groups and cliques. The school never did any kind of "team building" exercises to help people who did not fit in. That was me, and I would have appreciated opportunities to interact with others since I was not athletic, could not sing or dance... The district overall seems to me to be a 3/5.
