Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8 Reviews
These past few years at Fountain Ft. Carson High School have been life changing for me to say the least. I entered into the school with a family, and I will be leaving the district a foster child. Throughout the entire difficult process I was thrown into, the staff at Fountain have given me more than just hope for my future, but another chance at life all together. The counseling center, social workers, and special ed department are ran by the most beautifully genuine people I have ever come in contact with. The lengths these individuals go to ensure a student's safety has turned them into hero's in my eyes. I have been truly blessed to have met these figures that have not only guided me, but have supported me through my crazy life transitions.
All three of my children are D8 kids. My oldest is in her sophomore year of college at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ. My middle child is 10 and started at Weikel’s preschool program, now in her 5th year at Eagleside. Lastly, my baby, my son, is in his second year of PK at Conrad. He required Speech therapy his first year and Ms. Karen was his champion from day 1 until she left last year. To say I love D8 is not doing the teachers and staff justice. They all do their very best each day to ensure our kids learn, are safe, and succeed. Cannot say enough good things.
With being a military child it is very scary going to a new school, but Fountain-Fort Carson made it easier. I was introduced to student to show me around. I was so surprised to see the options of classes the school had. I even get to take a class that specifically is in the profession I want to do. This made it were i was excited to go to school. I also like the different clubs I can join to meet more people. Overall, I would definitely recommend this district.
