Overall I had an amazing experience in high school. The teachers created different social and educational situations each day, which pushed me to think outside of the box. At the beginning of the year almost all my teachers made us do an ice breaker to get to know our classmates better. Them doing this introduced me to different people, and it helped me adjust to my learning environment. Not only are the teachers amazing, but also the schools themselves. A few Fwisd schools were just recently renovated, so everything better enhances the student lifestyle. But with the new building comes unexpected technology issues, like interrupted wifi which has now been corrected. While the new architecture has its issues, the pros out way the cons. The conditions from the existing structures were outdated. So the upgraded buildings were much needed. My overall experience with Fort Worth Independent School District has been enjoyable and productive.
A school is not a place where we only gain bookish knowledge but we also learn to make friends, laughing together and mischief. There are many District schools in my area but mine is unique. Fort Wort Independent School District is a very wonderful District. It helps you in everything you need help with. The teachers and staffs are very good, friendly and cooperative, I love their company. Talking about the students, they are the best. They are supportive and they don't choose each other. They are lovely and adorable. They don'tlet you feel loneliness. This school district help you with your career, they make sure you apply for the colleges you want earlier, they encourage students in everything, to fight for what they want, to never give up. Not forgetting about safety, parents don't have to be concerned about their children's safety, it is safe. You would definitely love it here.
I attended I. M. Terrell Academy in FWISD. Through this school, I experienced the care that was put into this school from the beginning. The funding that they supported each student's interests with opened doors for so many kids to truly dive into what they want to focus on for the rest of their lives. The staff at my school was dedicated to supporting each apprentice in their needs and ensuring their understanding of each subject studied. The humanities program exposes the students to classical literature and it fosters critical thinking skills. However, FWISD itself struggles, like many other districts, to cover everyone's needs. The funding that I. M. Terrell received allowed for so many special things that other schools in the district are not able to do. Even so, my experience in the district was very positive.
