Fort Worth ISD has been my school district my whole life and its crazy that after this year, when i graduate, ill be leaving that part behind along with all of high school! In a way its like leaving my second home, so in my honest opinion FWISD is an okay district, compared to the school in other districts... Especially in the sports department, we Barley have the proper equipment or fields for the sports teams we offer. Also i wish FWISD provided more readiness for college or readiness for just for life in general! I feel that FWISD could do better in many departments.

Although there's nothing special about FWISD, it's not an awful district. I've been in the district for almost 14 years and I can't say it's been an amazing 14 years. The district definitely has some flaws, the biggest one being lack of communication. The district doesn't communicate important dates/events with students until the last minute, which has been a reoccurring issue for 14 years. While there are some flaws, there are also good things about the district. The teachers have been so helpful throughout the years. They really care about my education and do everything they can to help me be successful. I've been able to create a close relationship with my teachers which helps me feel like they're trusted adults that I can talk to. I feel like I'm prepared for college in the stance of academics but not for the real-world, like how I'm supposed to balance schoolwork and a job so that I'm able to pay for essential items.
Overall, FWISD has been a great learning experience and fun at the same time. They provide books, lunch, and technology. However things could improve. For example, lunch that taste better would cause better student attitude and performance. They could update most of the books. They should also adjust the temperature of the school to be
during the seasons for the comfort of the students since they have to stay there all day. This effects the work ethics for the student. It’s difficult to work in uncomfortable temperatures and working in an unclean environment. Therefore,
sanitizing, cleaning the schools could be better because lots Of students get sick. Also, diversity could be better. Fort Worth Independent School District has provided a lot for their students, but not enough.
