Strong community in a small school setting. Being in a big city where most schools are overflowing with students Cole middle/high school has been a great option for my children. My children have had great opportunities they might have never had at a big school. Thankful one of my friends told me about Cole before we moved to SA!
Fort Sam Houston School District is one with a excellent academics program. There were plenty of ways to get tutoring and one on one help with any of problems I was having with school work. I would say the only thing that needs improve is accepting every student for who they are and letting them express themselves. The administration seldom listened to the students when they had ideas that were actually really bright ideas. It was more of, if you weren't popular or excelling academically, you got pushed to the side.
Robert G. Cole High School was an amazing school. Since it was a military school I met people from all over. I made friends that I hope to keep in touch with for a very long time. On the teaching side, the teachers were very understanding and helped you when you needed it.
