Fort Bend Independent School District Reviews
When I think about fort bend independent school district, I think of diversity and family! Fort bend independent school district is very welcoming to families of all backgrounds living in sugar land, Missouri city, and Fresno. The district’s top priority is academics and essentially puts students first! Excellent academics being offered throughout the schools! Schools such as Clements and Dulles have great clubs and activities such as FFA and Band/orchestra. Overall, fort bend independent school district is outstanding!
To begin with, my first school experience in the U.S was in Fort Bend School District. When compared to the education in my country, it is more exciting to be in Fort Bend. Teachers are excellent. They care about every student's success with a highly sympathetic and helpful attitude. Even though I was fresh to American culture and English language, all of my teachers helped me to succeed. Furthermore, the school is highly diverse. It is possible to find students from every nationality, thus you easily get to know other cultures and their traditions. That's a great opportunity to learn more about the world, instead of just focusing on our country. Moreover, the club activities and sports are much available for fans and followers. Additionally, teachers, students, and managers are deeply respectful to race, ethnicity, and religion of everyone. Food is considered a bit poor, but other facilities are remarkably admirable. All in all, Fort Bend is a great school district to be in.
Not only is it diverse, but they take several measures to ensuring that all students feel welcome and supported through free/reduced meals, and other programs set in place to help the students graduate. Additionally the superintendent and other board members are continually working to ensure that all complaints from teachers, and parents are being addressed. Through the creation of the group, Student VOICES, high school students are also given a platform to vocalize issues within their individual high school campuses. Lastly, with every nationwide concern, like school shootings, Fort Bend ISD, raises awareness of these issues, and takes certain measures like increasing front door security and hiring more police officers at elementary schools to ensure that the students and their families feel safe. Overall, I would recommend this district to any individual looking to enroll their children in a public school.
