The Fort Atkinson School District is very welcoming and does a great job at getting all of the students in involved. All the schools are clean, safe and prepared to give students the education they not only need but deserve. Currently, the schools are working on improving the lunch quality; there is a wide variety of food daily. Athletic programs and clubs have students working hard to better themselves, their team and the school. The district lives by respect and responsibility, which is shown to the community and surrounding towns by the students and staff.
I have a lifetime of experience with the Fort Atkinson School District. I am an alumna, as are my two younger sisters, 5 and 7 years younger. My two sons are alumni, and I am still a Boy Scout leader that teaches and counsels boys about Citizenship in the Community, Nation, and World. My Scouting activities keeps me abreast of what is happening in the middle school and high school, as well as the attitudes of the boys I talk to on a weekly basis, that they have toward their education.
I mean it is school and I use to attend it but there was certain things such as how the main focus of the school was just the football team and them getting new everything as opposed to other sport teams and clubs/organizations.
