I attended FHSD schools for the majority of my pre-uni education, & have returned to the district to have my kids educated here. Home prices range from <$100K to <$800K, providing a wonderful range of options for residents. Recent facility renovations include Wilson Elementary being fully re-built in 2018. The teachers & educators are excellent, with THS students in AP math all achieving scores allowing them to count college credits, saving parents $$$ in school fees. A high level of parent engagement helps to make our district strong. We often have students return to teach at these schools tor return to have their children attend FHSD. We are not yet a very diverse community, but we welcome and need families and students with more diverse experiences & backgrounds to further enhance our FHSD community.

I really love Forest Hills School District. I enjoy going to school every day because of the outstanding students and administration; you can tell that they love what they do! We recently added a Hope Squad which is geared towards helping students get the care that they need if they are thinking about committing suicide. I love how this district is very focused on both the students education and personal health!
I have been apart of the Forest Hills School District from kindergarten until senior year. My experience (so far) has been great! All the teachers are very understanding and willing to work with you. Besides my high school not having air conditioning, all the facilities have been great. I have played sports for the district since 7th grade and have always had a great experience with my coaches! Almost every coach was a teacher as they are required to be involved in the school, which is a cool experience to have your coach there at school with you. Recently we have had some construction at my high school in the district, which is an inconvenience now but will be nice in a year or so once all the construction is done. In review, I would highly recommend the district and overall area for anyone looking for a great schooling experience.
