For me, it is the best school district in all Texas. Everyone there is kind and friendly. From the staff and teachers, to the students themselves. I am about to finish my fourth and last year of High School there, and the teachers have a good mentality and a good way of teaching that will make you be interested in what they are saying. Sometimes teachers will use fun dynamics to teach a certain subject, make us students interact with each other, and I believe that is a very important thing to do for life, interact with people. The staff is very friendly as well, from the janitors, to the security guards, they are always making jobs and at the same time taking the situations as they should, seriously. But the kindness never goes away from them. To finalize, our principal, Mr. Crenshaw. He is such an amazing human being, he cares a lot about all of us. I remember on freshmen year he made a talk to our class about how important High School was going to be, and he was definitely right.
Flour Bluff ISD has teachers that go above and beyond like most school, but what I love about Flour Bluff High School most is that it is like one big family. Families get in arguments and fights, but we always know that the student body and stuff will always be there when we need them the most. The school has many programs to choose from to give me a selection to pick from to better my future, and to get my feet wet and see if that is the career path I want to take. The school encourages us to look forward, pushes us to do better, and to learn from our mistakes.
Most of the teachers and staff are very kind and understanding, while some don't care about the students' actions in their classrooms. There is a huge variety of students attending Flour Bluff high school each year which contributes in keeping the school spirit strong. This school offers many great opportunities such as the UP program, NHS, different clubs, events, and much more. Some students at Flour Bluff tend to act in a non-mature way causing others to be misguided in terms of what they should be doing and vice versa. Overall, my high school Flour Bluff ISD is a wonderful place to learn and grow as a person from all the unexpected challenges that await behind each turn.
