Field Local School District Reviews
Field High School was good for building my social skills and practical study tools and time management skills for the future in both my jobs and education; however, field lacked options for classes to give you a depth of knowledge and strong preparation base, and also had a very mixed bag of teachers that were good and bad. The best teachers did an excellent job with engaging the class and properly readying you for the future, but there were more teachers who didn't know either how to connect with a class or taught content that wasn't clear.
Most of the teachers really care about your education, and want to see you do your best, and attend college, if that's the right path for you. The unfortunate part about the school is that the district has funding trouble, and struggles to pass levies. The school could be much better if there was more funding to better the students education and if all teachers were more focused on student success and getting them ready for their future, whatever that may be.
The staff is not involved in the junior/ senior students attending Maplewood. The bathrooms are constantly dirty and discusting. The teachers were the only thing of the part of my time at field that helped me get through school there. For this reason i attended Maplewood career center but was still enrolled at field.
