Fern Ridge School District Reviews

2 reviews
Newer facilities and updated electronics/computers. Superintendent who is very involved and invested in the school district. Smaller school district with funding challenges, so unable to support extracurricular activities such as band and drama. Few electives. Minimal choices in which classes are available, but AP offerings at the high school level. Limited advancement in higher level math. Scores well when compared to state rankings. Smaller environment provides one-on-one counseling with teachers who care. No real drug problem and lots of club choices at the high school, including Tolerance & Diversity and Key Club.

FRSD is the best school district in Lane County, hands down. I have a child attending VES and another attending EHS, both of which have been excellent educational institutions which spend a great deal of time ensuring students achieve their highest potential. They're incredibly supportive and the community assist families in various ways. If you're looking for a great place to raise your children and for them to reach their goals, this is it.
