I have lived and gone to Fayetteville all of my life, it is all that I know. I love the close-knitted community there is and the "everyone knows everyone" aspect.
Your perfect one stop light town high school.
What I would change is the favoritism and nepotism of it all. This includes any type of sports, clubs, organizations, who's hired, who's fired, even who's word is believed over another. Every high school has it's issues, doesn't make it okay.

I have been at Fayetteville since I was in preschool. I have loved being here and lived the opportunities it has given me. When I was in seventh grade there was a meeting for college credit plus. This is a program that allows anyone in seventh grade or higher to be allowed to take college courses if they pass the placement test. Because of this meeting the school has saved me thousands of dollars, because when I graduate from my high school in the fall I will have earned my associates degree through the college credit plus program they offer.
Fayetteville is a smaller school that is filled with teachers that work hard to make sure their students succeed. Everyone is very inviting and they care about your future. The coaches help build leadership, communication and time management. Someone is always around to help no matter what you may be having trouble with.
