I love FCHS so much! It is a close community and we are a family. I am a student that my professors know about and I like knowing that my professors can watch my progress. I feel like I am contributing something to the community. I really do feel like it is my home away from home. I feel so comfortable there and it was as hard of an adjustment as I had thought it would be when I choose to go to public school. It is a small school and you don't get lost is a crowd. My teachers know me and I feel that I can easily communicate with them.

There have been lots of problems in the past with controlling troublesome students at times, but overall great experience.
My high school is a family atmosphere which embraces diversity and uniqueness. Everyone is celebrated for their strength or talent, and a culture of acceptance and inclusion exists. However, an expectation of high academic standards exists. I was also was given the opportunities to participate in A.P., dual enrollment, and dual credit. In addition, I was worked with extensively to improve my ACT score which provided me with greater academic opportunities. I would have been lost and forgotten in a larger high school and am grateful for my school.
