Ive been a student at the Faribault Public Schools since kindergarten. All my experiences with the district have been really positive. I think the district schools really try to get the kids motivated and involved. Ive seen this happening more lately and it’s really reassuring knowing all the staff cares for the well being of the students. I think there’s a strong community and spirit in the district which why i enjoyed being a student here for all my years!
Faribault Public Schools got me to the place where I am today. I've graduated and I'm college ready. Sure there are several things I would have liked to change but that is the same anywhere. Course-wise I enjoyed the electives. Music, arts and language are always great. There were several teachers I wouldn't have minded having another class with; when they enjoy their class, you can enjoy the class too!
I liked that most of the time students are involved in school activities and events. I did not like that the teachers were not super involved in events and are not super involved with the students. Also a lot of our teachers don't seem to try and bond with their students.
