I have been in district 49 since I was in second grade. I’ve grown up in this district. Like any other school, it isn’t perfect but I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. I’m so excited to graduate in 2019 and receive my diploma from Falcon High School. Love the teachers and the classes offered, but I wish that sometimes teachers didn’t give the class busy work and would actually teach the material instead of making us teach ourselves!

This is a terrible school! The principle is incompetent and has poor judgment in hiring and retaining teachers and coaches. Information is never easy to find and getting information out of the teachers is nearly impossible.
I liked that I knew many other students in the school since I attended area feeder pattern schools since I was in preschool. I also liked that I played sports with the same main group of players since I was in 2nd grade. This helped me to well academically and took our basketball program/teamwork to record breaking heights to the longevity of our relationships and play time.

As far as improvement, I would change the level of engagement of our classes. It is tough to keep the excitement going to go to class when our school only teaches in a lecture manner.
