Transferring from a different school district to the Fairfield-Suisun School District really showed me how much this district has to offer. First off, I could automatically tell that there was a huge difference in diversity, as this district has lots of it. It made me feel safer about going to school in a district where there were others that looked like me. They also have a wide variety of honors and AP courses provided for students who would like to participate in a more fast-paced and advanced learning environment. Even more, they have a lot of options when it comes to playing sports. They offer sports including the basics such as basketball and football, while also creating golf and waterpolo sports teams. I take pride in the resources the students are given from our administrators. They allow us to pursue our aspirations by nudging us in the right direction. Overall, I think attending the Fairfield-Suisun School District would be a great decision due to diversity in many aspects.
My experience in this district has been great! I love how organized and committed they are, I think there are a few things that can improve for example, safety since sometimes I do not feel 100% protected and safe in school. But for the rest is just totally great! I'll miss it.
Honestly, the people who work at the district office don't care about supporting the students. Many allegations have been swept under the rug just to maintain a good reputation. Although the district office itself doesn't care about the students, I personally know some staff at school who try their hardest to support their students. Staff at school would try to convince the district office to change their ways, but they absolutely refuse to do so. By doing this, many students, including myself, feel neglected as if our problems are unimportant.
