My experience at Fair Lawn High School has been phenomenal ever since I became part of this family starting my Sophomore year of High School. I was amazed by the opulence of the school in terms of friendliness and diversity. The staff is very amicable, the teachers are extremely supportive of their students, with no exception, and the students are generally very cooperative of one another. However, the only thing I would like to see changing in the school is the administration's involvement in certain sports teams and clubs. For example, the tennis court needs to be fixed, because it is not very clean and has some cracks, and the JV team is never given attention. Overall, my experience was very good!

I was not apart of the Fair Lawn School District until 4th grade. However, even at such a young age, I was able to recognize the wide variety of facilities and opportunities the school district has to offer. Compared to my old school district, Fair Lawn has a much larger sense of unity. There is something for everyone- no matter the age or interests. Even though the student body has many different personalities and interests, everyone still comes together in times of need. Whether it be a student facing a hard time or a faculty member in need, the Fair Lawn School District goes beyond the means of providing their students with an education, but a home.
To start, diversity wise, Fair Lawn used to be primarily white people. As an indian girl, it felt like a majority-minority situation. However, I have to say that as time passed, now, it is a lot more diverse and open. This school takes their academics seriously, which I like. Some of the sports teams aren't the most well known, but we have quite a few teams that are annual winners that take the top of the ranks. However, most of the students were on the richer and spoiled side and some of the teachers and people in general were rude. Overall, it wasn't a bad school, but it wasn't amazing either.
