My experience at ETHS has had its highs and lows. The positives definitely outweigh the negatives since I do my best to see the good in everything. A few positive things that were there were the friends that I have made and all of the student activities I have attended such as sporting events and community service. I also have had good relationships with all my teachers and was treated with equality and respect. What I wish would change, and pretty much the whole student body agrees with this, is the cafeteria policies. We should be free to eat at whatever cafeteria they choose, being assigned a cafeteria and only having one cafeteria open to all with limited space doesn't make sense. For example, what if the weather conditions are too brutal to leave campus? Then what? Anyways, the only negative experience I've ever dealt with was getting a poor grade on something and having to retake them to raise my grade, but other than that I think I've had a pretty normal experience at ETHS.
The teachers are qualified, and kind people, and I have learned a throughout my time at ETHS. I feel very prepared for my collegiate pursuits and very lucky that I got to attend this school. However, as with any school, you get out what you put in. ETHS definitely has the resources that students need to be prepared for college and the real world from before-school breakfast programs to the wild-kit academy, a weekend program that students can attend if they need extra help.
ETHS's curriculum of classes prepares students for different career paths and opportunities, from academic classes like AP English to more trades-focused classes like Manufacturing Technology. Students are encouraged to try different types of classes to probe their interests, all of which provide quality education.
To summarize, ETHS gives students the opportunity to achieve a great, well-rounded education that will prepare them to tackle whatever life throws at them after they graduate

I have had a great overall experience during my time at ETHS due to a multitude of reasons but specifically the diversity and teachers. All of these superb aspects of my high school are the reasons I am prepared for my time at university.
ETHS prepares students like no other at ETHS you have a wide variety of races, identities, and beliefs experience with all of these aspects will allow me and others to feel comfortable in a majority of environments. Evanston is one of the most diverse towns in the country, in college I will encounter many different people and due to the diversity, I will be ready.
The teachers at ETHS care about your success, and I believe this is why I succeeded in high school. I took advantage of opportunities offered including AM support, after-school hours, and school-based clubs. I am not naturally gifted at math, so when my teachers saw me struggling they would ask me to come into AM support. Asking me to come in the show how they care.
