The teachers seem to really care whether or not you feel confident in what you’re learning. Sometimes we get caught up in the grades and points but our teachers remind us that it’s more about whether or not we are learning the material. Also, the school environment is just wonderful. We have sports, arts, and clubs with coaches or mentors that help guide us to better our selves while doing what we love!
I have three children currently enrolled in the Escondido Union School District. I have always been met with respect and all of my concerns were met with priority. The staff is professional, friendly but still make you feel like your voice matters.
I very much enjoy my experience at my school district. Typically, when younger children think of high school, their minds are plagued with stereotypical ideas of the popular kids, cliques, bullying, and other negative ideas of school. This school district, however, feels much different. There is great diversity among friend groups and the schools as a whole. The teachers are all very welcoming and understanding. As a whole, it is a very open and welcomed environment.
