Enid Public Schools is a public school organization with great people, but little organization. While our sports coaching staffs have improved, it was not until my senior year of high school that I was provided a Pom coach that knew about dance. Most athletes are required to have had extensive prior experience to their sport. As I had to dance at a studio to get technique for Pom because my freshman-junior year, I only had a sponsor. I believe a lot of budgeting should be adjusted. Overall I made my experience at Enid Public Schools great due to friends and teachers.
Enid Public Schools is an average school district, but has amazing teachers and people. The teachers truly care about their students, and help them on the road to success. The advanced level classes at Enid High truly prepare the students for college success.
I had a very average experience. Oklahoma is behind the rest of the states when it comes to education. I was blessed to attend a school that offers AP classes so I took full advantage of that. The teachers who teach AP classes are so much better than the teachers who teach regular ones. Principles at the school are more worried about disciplining the students than educating them. Overall, my experience was rough and I can't wait until I get to leave for college.
