Eminence Independent Schools has a very good atmosphere for children. I have attended there K-12 and I do not regret it. Yes it is small, but because of its size, I was able to participate in many opportunities that a larger school possibly could not provide. The smaller environment also gives off a family feeling, and it is enjoyable to see my previous teachers in the hallways. It also allows the opportunity to be a leader for the smaller children in the building–––my participation in the theatre gave me many young kids to be a role model to. As with any school, they have their faults such as the lack of some chances for important classes/clubs, but this school cares about the children. A lot of the classes are project-based so it provides many hands-on activities. Everyone looks out for each other. At many times, I would get frustrated with the school system, but I cannot deny that it will break my heart to leave when I graduate.

Eminence schools has a great environment for students and teachers! The staff really try their best to make our learning more enjoyable.
I am a new student who began my senior year this past august. i am previously from Michigan, and chose Eminence High School based on how similar it was to my old school, size, and teaching methods wise. From my experience, the classes are quite small, which makes it easier for the teachers to give more individualized attention to the students who need it. I've attempted to have my questions answered by the front desk regarding upcoming events, but was unfortunately unsuccessful in getting the answers i needed. On several occasions, they have appeared to have no knowledge of said event/topic of my questions.
There is a large amount of racial diversity through the school, but unfortunately due to the size of the district, there is a shortage of clubs and activities for the student to be a part of.
