Honestly, overall this school district did very well with the integration of three elementary schools into the middle school. The middle school at Elkhorn also helped for students to start grasping onto their strong subjects whether it was math or reading and giving students advanced classes to better those strong suits. Finally, at the high school, through the Gateway Technical and Whitewater Colleges nearby, Elkhorn could offer students many Advanced Placement classes to help prepare students for college and allow them to come in with extra credits. All in all, Elkhorn was a great school district to grow up in and I am glad for all the opportunities given to me from their schools.

At Elkhorn Area High School, Students have a wide variety of courses available at hand. Elkhorn Area is an great efficient school. The administration along with the teachers are very involved and will do anything to keep the students on track for graduation and prepare them for college. Involvement of students and parents are very common which is such a good thing to see since not a lot of school have that type of communication with one another. I believe Elkhorn Area is strict on attendance but that's a good thing for how I see it. The environment is very clean and safe. Students show to be responsible and respectful as well. I don't think anything should change in Elkhorn Area, The school keep improving every year!
I have enjoyed attending school here for the past 13 years. Faculty is incredibly nice and always willing to help when needed. They go out of their way to make sure you are on the best path for you and never give up on students. Administration however, is not very involved with students. Most students have negative thoughts about the administration and how they run certain things. A lot of changes were just brought to the schools this past summer, most of which are very good and impressive. Students like the new additions, however, dislike some of the new rules set by administration. Overall, this is an amazing place to attend school from a student's point of view.
