I absolutely enjoyed my years at Elida. Every step I took to graduate, I was supported by every person, whether that be teachers, staff members, students, you name it! I would not be the confident woman I am today if I had not conquered what I did at Elida. Hands down, this school will leave a positive mark on me and now I want to share what I’ve learned with everyone else!
It was an average school. The curriculum was good. The teachers were very well prepared to teach bathe students. I will say that every now in then, you would run into issues with the administration. Also, not a whole lot of diversity. In fact, it took them almost 80-90 years for Elida to finally have black students or or any other non white student. The school is roughly 70-75 percent white. They can easily work on that. The sports teams are not that bad either, except for that one time the football team had lost every single game in a whole season. But other than that, it’s not a terrible school.
The Elida Local School District has provided me an amazing experience for the past 5 years. I have learned so much and have gotten involved with many organizations and clubs here. I have had lots of fun at all of the sporting events that we have and I do not want these memories to end. I have been in most of the theatre productions here and they were the best experiences of my life. Finally, my involvement on the track team was the best decision I've ever made.
