I had the privilege to attend the El Segundo District from my first year in elementary school throughout high school. The teachers and facilities I had shaped me into the person I am today and I am forever grateful for that. Back when I was in elementary school I remember that there was not much diversity in our school however once I got into middle and high school it increased and I loved it. Our counselors got us ready and prepared throughout our high school years to be well equipped for our college journey. I was involved in the cheer team for one year and track throughout my four years of high school. I was so proud to represent my school and learned so much from my mentors and coaches. The only downfall I could say would be that they did not offer any dance classes or team. Once in college I had the opportunity to restart my dance journey and continue on my education as well.
Overall the El Segundo District is shaped so strongly with great teachers, staff, coaches and peers.

We are a small community High School that sits in the middle of Los Angeles.
I have had the most amazing teachers. I have taken AP classes for 3 years. I have been challenged and have learned so much! We are also a California accredited school. We have great clubs, sports and academics. We have a ton of community and parent support as well. Lucky to be graduating from ESHS as it has prepared me for a top notch college.

Overall, the El Segundo Unified School District is a great district to be in. The campus is clean, and welcoming. In addition to this, the teachers are great and the counselors provide fantastic college resources that put students on a path toward success. However, I would like to see more diversity in the student body, and more funding for the arts.
