I would not change a thing. El Dorado high school has a wonderful Principal and Staff. The principal is on deck, and cares about his students. The Freshman Advanced English Teacher Mrs Drummond is the Best. I can not say enough about her teaching, but her attitude and love for teaching is positive every day. The Math Dept has Ms Morris. Another Great, Wonderful Teacher to have.
All the Staff has a positive attitude and is wonderful to be around. This School, El Dorado High School is the Best!

My experience at El Dorado Union High School District was pleasant because the staff overall are nice people who enjoy their jobs and want to help students learn. The classes are challenging, but the teachers are always willing to help a student fully understand each concept. The campus is relatively clean, and my fellow peers are accepting of each other. There is not a sense of competition between students over status and money, as there is in nearby schools. Despite these good characteristics, El Dorado High School is known for its lack of school spirit, which I would like to see changed. In addition to this, I do not agree with the new remediation schedule, which caters to kids who do not meet the bare minimum for expectations in school. This new schedule takes class time away from students who truly need it and are willing to take advantage of it. I believe the schedule should be returned to normal.
It has been a really good experience! I do wish there were more AP science options such as AP chemistry, and more foreign language options.
