This school has helped me my entire life. I never thought how amazing this school would become. Thanks to them, I'm one smart student out of my entire class. I can relax easy knowing that my teachers and the staff are always there when anyone needs their help. This school has good food, amazing classes and extracurricular activities, and a great and friendly staff. It's the best school to make some new friends. This school has won several sports trophies in the past few years and two students have won several state titles. I couldn't think of anything bad about this school, so that's why Egyptian is a good school.
I would like to see a change at Egyptian School. I want to see the parents of students more involved with their child's educational experience. Also, some teachers seem like they do not care about most students and that makes students feel worthless. The school board needs to worry more about the students education rather than making rules that have nothing to do with the learning process.
What I really like about Egyptian Community Unit School District No. 5 is how small it is. That may sound odd to some, but I have gotten a lot more attention from my teachers which led me to learn more. And the school is very understanding and helped me through my mother being terminally ill. The school worked with me to make sure I was doing okay and help me succeed in any way they can. Also, the community activities here bring everyone together and really work on and build who you are as a person.
